Bespoke framed in FSC accredited wood and painted in Farrow & Ball Elephants Breath. As with all our traditionally framed pieces, we conservation frame as much as we can. This beautifully embroidered textile is carefully wrapped around a conservation board and floated on a hessian covered conservation mount board. There is a 1.5cm spacer so the piece sits back into the breathable frame.

The wooden frame is painted with a chemical free waterborne paint.

Each of Loom’s beautiful Otomi pieces has been carefully designed and as with our other textiles, we aim to bring a more contemporary feel to a traditional art form. Each unique piece is delicately hand drawn and then hand embroidered with silk thread on cotton or linen by skilled artisans.

With all our frames use a soft cloth to remove any marks. We recommend a microfibre cloth for cleaning. Do not use anything abrasive.
